Group Study Rooms are for UTMB students only and are intended for collaborative group study.
- Rooms can reserved for up to 4 hours at a time by an individual. At least 2 students should be in the room for the majority of the checkout period.
- An individual can only reserve 4 hours in a day.
- Reservations must be made with a UTMB email address.
- Reservations made with @utmb.edu email addresses that cannot be verified in the UTMB Directory or Outlook will be canceled.
- Names used in the reservation must match the email address used. Reservations using names that do not closely correspond to the email address used will be canceled.
- If a reserved room is not claimed within 15 minutes of start time, the entire reservation will be canceled and the room will be made available for walk-ins or reservations.
- Rooms should not be left unattended for more than 30 minutes. Unattended rooms will be made available to other groups.
Study rooms are intended for group use. If you are alone using a room, you may be asked to leave if a group requires a room.

Group study rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Library. Rooms are equipped with a table, chairs,and a white board (dry erase markers/eraser available for checkout at the Information Desk on the 2nd floor).
